Our Careers

Sales - Consumer Foods

Let's face it, when someone mentions the word sales, we often immediately think of "cold calls," telemarketers interrupting dinner, and salespeople walking door to door peddling products of every variety. Contrary to these popular beliefs, a business management career at General Mills focuses on developing our brands in an increasingly competitive marketplace, while forming strategic partnerships with our customers. Business management at General Mills involves consulting with our customers in order to develop customized programs that meet their business development needs. General Mills believes in developing its people. One way to do this is to ensure the company's employees are exposed to a broad range of assignments. As a member of the Consumer Foods Sales division, you'll have the opportunity to hold positions exposing you to both field sales and business development.
